Over the past week I have been working with David at Koda Creative to tweak their new blog and get it ready for launch, and today it is live. So go to the Koda Blog and check it out. TheKnife-WP hits 1000 Downloads!!

Yes, my theme TheKnife-WP (the theme I am using for this blog) has hit 1000 downloads at the WordPress theme directory! Not too bad for a first theme . Though it it about time to get to work on the new theme for my DesertWolf Designs site I think.

Weekend catch up

Well I did not get a whole lot done this weekend.
The main thing is that I got my theme TheKnifeWP submitted to the new WordPress Theme Directory. I had to make a few changes to my style.css, but it is in, and I am just waiting for it to go through final review.

Also have upgraded Tao of DesertWolf to the new WordPress 2.6.

Aside from that, worked with my daughter on some of her summer school work, and went over to mom & dads and helped them with some things.

I am starting to work on a new original theme for my profesional site, DesertWolf Designs. I am actually going to try starting from a mockup in Photoshop. Kind of an exercise for my Photoshop skills. I am debating if I want to track my progress with this on the DWD blog or not. It might make for an interesting project.

I found this killer XHTML/CSS website template titled The Knife by Fernando Baptista, Fernbap.com, so I converted it to a WordPress theme. I still have a few things to work out, but it is just about done. Let me know what you think of it.

Upgrading to WordPress 2.5

As this is the safest blog for me to upgrade….i t gets to be the test subject for upgrading to the new WordPress 2.5, so if things look a bit weird, you know why..
