Things Slowing Down- Time to Learn Something New

School is slowing down a bit finally, so have some time to start working on some other things I have been wanting to. One of which is learning some python programming and the Django framework. I have started going through a python tutorial Google has and will go on to Django after that. So far I am enjoying it, though it is taking a little getting use to after C# and PHP, but I am catching on. I am looking forward to getting into Django, I have heard lots of good things about it, and a few bad things, but there is no such thing as a perfect framework. Once I get more into it I will post some stuff on my coding blog.

I will be trying to catch up some more posts here over the next few days, as long as things stay like they are…

I have a video of my daughters cheer team, some pictures of our new family member and some other things to post on.

Lifestreaming is up

Well I have my Sweetcron lifestream going and a link to it in my “Other Blogs” menu in the left hand column. I am currently in the process of editing the theme match this blog, and then will be working on customizing the different feeds. Let me know what you think.

Changes in the works

I have been wanting to make some changes to the blog, but really haven’t been sure what to do, as I am not sure where I am going with it. I do know I want to start posting more pics and vids, and want to clean it up a bit. So I am moving the twitters to a life stream along with my Flickr, Qik, 12 Seconds and things like that. Some will still make it to the blog, but I dont want to make it a dumping ground. So have added a Lifestream, to the site to collect all that. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I will be streaming live and also posting to Seesmic through out the event. When I know for sure which service I am going to use for live streaming I will add a link to the blog.

Yes, my theme TheKnife-WP (the theme I am using for this blog) has hit 1000 downloads at the WordPress theme directory! Not too bad for a first theme . Though it it about time to get to work on the new theme for my DesertWolf Designs site I think.
